Jesse Tree is experiencing a very high volume of requests for Emergency Rent Assistance.

We know your housing situation is important, and will reply to all inquiries. It can take up to 3 weeks to hear from us after being added to the waitlist. You are still on the waitlist if you haven’t heard from us yet about your inquiry.

If a Jesse Tree Case Manager contacts you, they'll set up a meeting before talking to your landlord. If not, in 3 weeks, we'll email you and suggest other programs for assistance.

When will I know if JT is helping me?

If no case managers are available within three weeks of sending in the ERA Screening Form, Jesse Tree will email you to let you know you’ve been removed from the waitlist. The email will include other programs you can apply to for help.

How will I know if I got assigned to a Case Manager?

If a Jesse Tree Case Manager is assigned to you, they will make multiple attempts to CALL + TEXT + EMAIL you. Please watch your email inbox and clear your voicemail box (or set it up if you haven’t yet)!

Why does it take so long?

Jesse Tree gets anywhere from 15 to 20 form submissions daily, and we have a small team of case managers trying to help as many people as possible. We’re all doing our best TOGETHER!
