ABOUT THE EVENT

We are excited to host the seventh annual Housed for the Holidays fundraiser on December 10th at the Stueckle Sky Center to celebrate 27 years of preventing homelessness in the Treasure Valley. The evening will include dinner and drinks, a silent and live auction, and opportunities to connect with like-minded community members. Our goal is to raise $375,000 to keep more than 185 families housed through our Emergency Rental Assistance program.

Jesse Tree’s mission is to prevent homelessness by providing one-time emergency rental assistance and services to families at risk of losing their homes. The need is great: in 2025, we served 1,229 families with over 3,400 applications received. Each family is supported to gain financial independence, including budgeting education, and connections to resources.

Our approach works: over 95% of people served by our program remain in stable housing five years later.  Our programs are also cost-effective. It costs Jesse Tree $2,000 on average to keep a family in their home. In comparison, it costs up to $20,000 to re-home a family once they’ve been evicted, and each year it costs our community $58,000 per person who is experiencing homelessness.

Last year, Jesse Tree had over 275 community-minded business professionals and philanthropists in attendance at our annual fundraising event and we expect the same this year.
