If you are a renter who has received a pay-or-quit notice or eviction court summons, please fill out this form to be added to Jesse Tree’s waitlist for Emergency Rental Assistance.

Jesse Tree can only add tenants to our waitlist who have a pay-or-quit notice or an eviction court summons.

Due to high demand, filling out an application means you will be added to a waitlist. It can take up to 3 weeks to know whether you will be assigned a case manager due to capacity, and we cannot guarantee financial assistance.

Please know Jesse Tree CANNOT financially assist you if you:

  • Do not have a pay-or-quit notice from your landlord
  • Will not have enough income to afford paying rent moving forward (long-term financial instability)
  • Are a homeowner needing mortgage assistance
  • Are related to your landlord (this includes in-law relations)
  • Are living in transitional housing / sober-living program
  • Are staying in hotels / motels / extended stays / Airbnb's
  • Are currently living on the streets, your car, or shelter
  • Have been sent a 30-day notice of lease non-renewal from your landlord
  • Have already been sent a Sheriff's Order to leave your rental
  • Make more than 80% Area Median Income
  • Are under 18 years of age as the primary leaseholder
