We Have Lots to Celebrate

Quite often, people ask us how we do this work every day. Hearing from 400+ families each month who are in crisis in the eviction process can certainly take a toll.

Knowing we are the only resource in town available to help them makes things even harder.

This holiday season we are reminding ourselves about what we can do, and all of the bright spots in our work:

We focus on the families we can help. We are currently preventing eviction for 75-100 families and administering $150,000 in emergency rental assistance monthly. All of these families' resilience and successes are inspiring. The Treasure Valley is a special, giving community, and our donors have allowed us to continue to grow to meet the needs of the people we serve.

Our 20 volunteers continue to step up to staff our Tenant Resource Center Monday through Friday, contributing hundreds of hours. A majority of our staff has been here for years, and they continue to show up each day to serve our neighbors.

It’s clear 2023 is full of things to celebrate. In November, we kept 87 families housed with emergency rental assistance and case management services. We are well on track to serve over 1,000 families! Thank you for being a part of it all.
