Client Story: Christopher
As a single father and entrepreneur, Christopher has adapted to many unexpected changes through his career. He and his 14 year old son live on the East End of downtown Boise, allowing them to enjoy Idaho life.
At the end of 2025, Christopher’s self-owned business went bankrupt. Tragically, there wasn’t a way to continue operations, leading Chris to make the difficult decision to go back to full time employment at a different company. The income Chris missed out on between his business ceasing operations and starting the new position put him behind on his rent.
Different painted rocks are piled together, with a bright blue stone labeled HOPE in the center.
Christopher reached out to Jesse Tree to explore options for catching up on his rent. Once connected to a case manager, Jesse Tree took immediate steps to ensure Chris and his child stayed housed. Chris’s case manager connected the family to local resources, and provided gift cards to help pay for groceries. Jesse Tree was able to pay the full balance on Chris’s ledger, allowing him to focus on his new job and son, while remaining stably housed.
