Client Story: Anya

Working while balancing health issues is a delicate act. Anya’s hardship began when she became sick around the end of 2025. Since she also has chronic health issues, this illness was hard to bounce back from. Anya missed work and also paid out of pocket for some medical expenses. This caused her to fall behind on her rent, even while she was attempting to make payments towards her balance.

Once Anya was connected with Jesse Tree, her case manager began taking immediate actions to help her stabilize. Anya had already taken steps to help get her through this difficult time. She had accessed food pantries and other services to help cover other outstanding costs. Anya’s case manager provided other resources and was able to pay Anya’s rental arrears in full.
