Client Story: Vera

Vera is a single mother to her 5 year old daughter. The mother and daughter fell upon hardship when they were in a severe car accident. Her daughter only received minor injuries, but Vera needed more specialized care. Their car was now totaled, and she was forced to take weeks off of work to properly heal.

By the time she reached out to Jesse Tree, the family was 2 months behind on rent and facing eviction. Luckily, Vera’s Jesse Tree case manager was able to effectively intervene. Vera’s case manager was able to assist in connecting the family with community resources and help Vera build a sustainable budget moving forward. Thanks to Jesse Tree’s intervention, Vera and her daughter remain stably housed and are able to focus on healing.
